Opening Reception | Journey to Serenity & Manifestations

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Thursday, April 4, to celebrate the opening of Journey to Serenity by Nahom Ghirmay and Manifestations by June Sekiguchi at ARTS at King Street Station!

Ghirmay explores the complexities of identity and emotional experiences in Journey to Serenity. Central to his artistic vision is a desire to capture our shared humanity, inspired by the stories and sentiments of those around him.

In Manifestations, Sekiguchi‘s work addresses cultural identity, cross cultural exchange, and personal narratives through an interplay of surface pattern and structural form.

View Manifestations and Journey to Serenity, showing alongside DREAM TEMPLE (for Octavia), until May 23. Read more about the April shows on our blog!

ARTS at King Street Station is FREE and open Wednesday – Saturday, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., and until 8 p.m. on First Thursdays. The gallery is located at 303 S. Jackson St., Top Floor, Seattle, WA 98104.
