We’re seeking an undergraduate college student for a 15- to 18-week internship to support our public art conservation and maintenance program this summer. This is an excellent opportunity for students to gain valuable knowledge of public art conservation.
The intern will perform maintenance and conservation activities including pressure-washing, sanding, filing, painting, scrubbing, graffiti removal and written and photographic documentation. The intern will also have office-related tasks including filing, database entry, product/technique research and inventory updates.
The internship is open to university, community college and vocational/technical students studying conservation, art history, fine art, science (physics/chemistry), museum studies, arts administration or related fields.
Desired start date is May 9. Hours will range from 16 to 24 hours per week based on the student’s school schedule.
