The Dreaming Room: Soundscapes for Deep Rest with Stephanie Ann Ball

Each month we invite the community to upcoming events at ARTS at King Street Station. Join artists from the We Still Dream a Future cohort and KSS Advisors for free art and learning experiences designed to help us dream, learn, and grow. View our events calendar for more information.

Join us this April for free art activities at ARTS at King Street Station! From a poetry salon to sound baths, read on for more details about the upcoming programs.

ARTS at King Street Station is open Wednesday through Saturday, 11 AM – 5 PM and until 8 PM on First Thursdays. Admission is always free. The gallery is located at 303 S. Jackson St., Top Floor, Seattle, WA 98104.


Poetry Salonshop with Dujie Tahat

Celebrate National Poetry Month with Civic Poet Dujie Tahat and DJ Sureal on the decks! Visit the gallery, listen to music, and read poetry from a selection curated by Dujie. The evening will be punctuated by occasional voiced readings.


Freshly Planted/Deeply Rooted: A Black Community Convening

Some of us are deeply rooted here, with families going back generations. Some of us are freshly planted – new seeds that have traveled from all over the world. All of us are here together now. Join us for an afternoon of conversation, art, & healing as we tend our unique community garden. Expect a care-filled roundtable discussion, an artist and community organization showcase, and opportunities to make new connections.


Sound Medicine for Liberation and Healing

An opportunity to rest, release grief and rage, gather in safe space, feel supported, and give our nervous systems a chance to shift into the “safe and connected mode.” Through this series of sound medicine offerings, artist Tory Trujillo supports our collective healing, grounding, and restoration.

This concert series hosted by Stephanie Ann Ball is designed to support nervous system recovery, emotional release, and collective connections through sound meditation, music, and storytelling. Come rest and connect over the course of this renewing series, every other month on the third Thursday between February and December.
