In addition to the plaza festivities, join us in the gallery to celebrate the opening of Buwaya Baby and another chance to see A Legacy Illuminated: Black Theater in the Pacific Northwest.
Making / Unmaking
Sept. 5, 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Join Ashanti Davis and Dr Dé Scipio for a dialogue and collective sculpture-making about the interconnectedness of humans and the natural world.
Participants will be placed into small groups, giving them a chance to connect with others in the space. Together, groups will develop a freeform sculpture that represents the themes of their group discussion and the larger concept of un-making boundaries and interconnectedness.
