Vincent Kitch confirmed as director

On Monday, May 2, the Seattle City Council unanimously confirmed Vincent E. Kitch as director of the Seattle Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs, and he was sworn in to office by City Clerk Monica Simmons. To view the Seattle Channel video of Vincent’s confirmation and his oath of office.

 

Mayor Mike McGinn appointed Vincent in February 2011 and he began work April 4. Vincent’s career in arts administration and government spans nearly 20 years, the past seven of which he was the cultural arts program manager for the city of Austin, Texas.
