King County's Art Chemical Hazards Project invites artists to take a short, 13-question survey that will inform the project's approach to protecting artists and the environment from the risks posed by hazardous chemicals in art supplies.

King County’s Art Chemical Hazards Project (part of the county’s Local Hazardous Waste Management Program, or LHWMP) works to protect artists’ health and the natural environment from the risks posed by hazardous chemicals in art supplies.

The program helps identify potentially hazardous chemicals in art supplies and provides information and training on potential risks to artists, museum and gallery staff, art educators, and art suppliers.

LHWMP is currently inviting artists to participate in a short, 13-question survey to guide the Art Hazards Project in providing assistance to artists in and near King County.

The survey should only take 4 minutes to complete, and all responses are anonymous.
