Un/Making Boundaries
Saturday, Nov. 1, 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Join Co-Founder and Executive Director of Relationships, Ashanti Davis, and ArtScience Educator, Dr Dé Scipio, for a dialogue and collective sculpture-making about the interconnectedness of humans and the natural world.
Participants will be placed into small groups, giving them a chance to connect with others in the space. Together, with prompts from the facilitators, groups will co-develop a freeform sculpture that represents the themes of their group discussion and the larger concept of un-making boundaries and interconnectedness.
Woven Stories
Nov. 6 – Dec. 4
Woven Stories is a four-part workshop series designed by EL SUEÑO. It explores the deep connections between craft and identity. Through weaving, braiding, and other hands-on techniques, participants will reflect on how these practices carry personal meaning and ancestral memory.
Each session invites storytelling through making—unraveling the threads that tie us to our cultural heritage, community, and sense of self. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to explore, create, and connect.
