Buwaya Baby

Step into a portal of protection and ask the buwaya (crocodiles) to guide you and our descendants. This interdisciplinary exhibit by Heidi Grace Acuña features textile and television installations and ceramic sculpture offerings.
A Legacy Illuminated: Black Theater in the Pacific Northwest

Through archival images, video excerpts, and original lighting elements, A Legacy Illuminated revisits a period of experimentation, collaboration, and artistic risk. The exhibition was created with the collaboration of a generation of actors whose work helped shape Seattle’s theater scene in the 1970s.
The Living Legacy of Joe Brazil

A tribute to the enduring vision and impact of legendary jazz musician, educator, and community builder Joe Brazil, this concert series remembers a giant whose shoulders we stand upon to build our future, featuring live music and dance on the King Street Station plaza. Free zines, books, artist-made publications, and participatory workshops furnish this book fair on the King Street Station plaza. Featured zines and printed works explore hope for the future through the lens of secret histories and overlooked stories from Seattle’s pocket neighborhoods.
