ARTS at King Street Station is open Wednesday through Saturday, 11 AM – 5 PM and until 8 PM on First Thursdays. Admission is always free. The gallery is located at 303 S Jackson St, Top Floor, Seattle, WA 98104.

First Thursday: Mobile Book Fair and Zine Library

Thursday, May 7, 6 – 8 PM

A young adult stands and smiles next to a vendor table set up with many books and zines.

Stop by the Mobile Book Fair and Zine Library, a series of plaza pop ups hosted by Common Area Maintenance. Free zines, books, artist-made publications, and participatory workshops furnish this book fair on the King Street Station plaza. Featured zines and printed works explore hope for the future through the lens of secret histories and overlooked stories from Seattle’s pocket neighborhoods.

Sound Medicine for Liberation and Healing

Thursday, May 14, 6 – 7:15 PM

An older woman with short hair sits on the ground in the ARTS at King Street Station gallery and plays sound bowls.

An opportunity to rest, release grief and rage, gather in safe space, feel supported, and give our nervous systems a chance to shift into the “safe and connected mode.” Through this series of sound medicine offerings, artist Tory Trujillo supports our collective healing, grounding, and restoration.
