February Programs | ARTS at King Street Station

Each month we invite the community to upcoming events at ARTS at King Street Station. Join artists from the We Still Dream a Future cohort and KSS Advisors for free art and learning experiences designed to help us dream, learn, and grow. View our events calendar for more information.

This year, ARTS at King Street Station is hosting weekly activations featuring a robust lineup of local artists! Join us this month for free, hands-on learning and art activities. Read on for more details about February’s programs.

ARTS at King Street Station is open Wednesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. and until 8 p.m. on First Thursdays. Admission is always free. The gallery is located at 303 S. Jackson St., Top Floor, Seattle, WA 98104.


Storytelling, Singing, & NW Coast Haida Formline Workshop with Sondra Segundo

Thursday, February 5, 6 – 8 p.m.

Using her ancient Haida artform, Sondra leads participants in a step by step lesson using water color pencils & brushes. Sondra will also share multilingual stories and songs.


Kolam Workshop with Anuradha Samrat

Thursday, February 12, 5 – 7 p.m.

Kolams have been used for generations to invite prosperity and ward off evil. Join us on a mindful journey into the meditative art of kolams. All materials will be provided for this hands-on workshop—just bring your curiosity!


The Dreaming Room: Soundscapes for Deep Rest

Thursday, February 19, 6 – 7:30 p.m.

This community-rooted concert series is designed to support nervous system recovery, emotional release, and collective connections through sound meditation, music, and storytelling. Come rest and connect over the course of this renewing series, every other month on the third Thursday between February and December.


Amplify: A hands-on marketing workshop for artists

Saturday & Sunday, February 21 & 22, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Artists of all disciplines and career stages benefit from building a strong toolkit to promote their work, apply for funding and residencies, and pursue press opportunities. In this free two-day intensive, you’ll learn foundational marketing skills and create resources you can use right away.


Little Brown Language: Translation As Medium

Thursday, February 26, 6 – 8 p.m.
