smART Ventures

Monthly Rolling Deadline
Apply for up to $1,500

smART Ventures provides support ranging from $500 to $1,500, proving that small investments can have big impacts. smART Ventures is flexible, inclusive, simple, and encourages innovation by individuals, organizations, and communities that may not qualify for other funding programs.

The Creative Advantage Community Arts Partner Roster

Rolling Deadline: February 28, May 31, September 30

The Creative Advantage Community Arts Partner Roster consists of artists, teaching artists, and community arts and cultural organizations approved to partner with Seattle Public Schools through The Creative Advantage.

Youth Arts Grant

Open Jan. 27 – March 10, 2026
Apply for $12,000

The Youth Arts grant supports two years of equitable access to arts and cultural learning opportunities for Seattle’s middle and high school-aged youth. Individual artists, artists, arts and cultural organizations, youth-service agencies, and degree-granting institutions are eligible to apply.

Artists at the Center

Open March 10 – April 21, 2026
Apply for up to $6,000

Artists at the Center is a multi-year collaboration between Seattle Office of Arts & Culture and Seattle Center. Artists are given a performance opportunity, allowing them to connect with new audiences, display their talents and advance their careers.

Call for ARTS at King Street Station Exhibitions

Open April 28 – June 9, 2026

Bring your exhibition vision to life at ARTS at King Street Station—a dynamic space for arts and culture in the heart of the city dedicated to increasing opportunities for people of color to generate and present their work. Individuals, community groups, and organizations will be eligible to apply.

Hope Corps

To be Announced

Created as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the widespread loss of work and income in the creative sector, Hope Corps supports Seattle’s creative workforce by funding and incubating career advancement opportunities that contribute to the well-being of Seattle.

CityArtist

Open May 19 – June 30, 2026
Apply for $8,000

CityArtist provides grants for Seattle-based individual artists/curators to research, develop, and present ideas or ventures. The 2026 CityArtist cycle will fund artists operating in the following disciplines: dance, music, and theater (including playwriting).

Civic Poet

Open July 14 – Aug. 25, 2026
Apply for $25,000

The Seattle Office of Arts & Culture, in partnership with the Seattle City of Literature, commissions and supports an experienced poet for a two-year residency to serve as a literary ambassador for Seattle. The Civic Poet will serve as a cultural ambassador for Seattle’s rich, multi-hued literary landscape and will represent Seattle’s diverse cultural community.

Arts in Parks

Open Sept. 15 – Oct. 27, 2026
Apply for up to $8,000

This grant supports new and established projects that center arts and culture-based activations, promote participation, celebrate diversity, plus builds community while connecting with audiences that represent Seattle’s diversity.
