Join us for the Longest Day of the Year

This year, the summer solstice falls on Saturday, June 21. Bask in revelry as King Street Station Plaza is transformed in celebration of the brightest day of 2025!

Live music, dance, cirque performances, DJ sets, dance workshops, and all-ages art activities light up LONGEST DAY—a communally-minded, season-inspired Solstice party.

Whether you were able to celebrate LONGEST NIGHT with us in December, or this is your first Solstice celebration, join us to surround yourself with community at this free event.


Performances & Workshops

  • 2:30 – 4 p.m. — Bright Moments with The Seattle Steel Pan Project: live music + dance from throughout the African diaspora
  • 4, 5, 6, 8:30 p.m. — Aerial spotlight performances presented by Oroki Productions
  • 4 – 6 p.m. — DJ Armónic: feel-good tracks blending Latin, Top 40, Afro, and R&B
  • 4 – 6 p.m. — Ambient cirque arts presented by Oroki Productions
  • 6 – 7:30 p.m. — Introductory salsa and bachata dance workshop presented by DJ Armónic
  • 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. — Ambient cirque arts presented by Oroki Productions
  • 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. — Live music with R E P O S A D O: rhythm-driven Latin, Afro, Funk, and Soul to dance through sunset

All Ages Art Activities

  • 2 – 3:45 p.m. — Flower Crowns + Garlands with Atlanta Brown
  • 2:30 – 6:30 p.m. — Cabinet of Curiosities: gifts of free art made by local artists Angie Hinojos, Michael Dylan Welch, Ilene LaGraba, Maria Zamora, Milagro del Arte, Hannah Pickard, and Berenice YZ
  • 4 – 5:45 p.m. — Sundrops with Amanda Chavira
  • 6 – 7:45 p.m — Affirmation + Sun Symbol Collages with Claudia Villalobos
