Artists at the Center introduces emerging and established artists to Seattle Center while broadening the arts and cultural experiences in the Uptown Arts & Cultural District. A Personal Point of View, LLC
October 20, 3 p.m., Armory Stage
Be ready to take a journey through a timeline of Hip Hop’s historic roots by highlighting the legends that created it and those who still today represent the genre. The production will showcase the fresh and fashionable STYLEZ and creativity of Hip Hop through Musical and Dance performances along with a Youth Fashion show highlighting pioneers of the Hip Hop Culture.
Roosevelt Alumni for Racial Equity
December 7, 3 p.m., Armory Stage
Roosevelt High School Beyond Black and White is a 30-minute documentary film chronicling Seattle’s historical attempts at school desegregation through busing as well as the racial equity issues and divisions of today, not only at Roosevelt but at schools throughout Seattle and nationwide.
The screening will be preceded by a special theatrical performance. There will also be a post-film panel discussion. The audience is encouraged to participate.
Thistle Theatre Inc
December 8, 3 p.m., Armory Stage
Every child’s dream come true – a magical puppet world of candy, cookies, and ice cream. Ollie the Oven bakes cakes and cookies, Bill the Chill makes ice cream treats and Sweetie, a copper kettle, cooks up candy and chocolate confections. The traditional story of the Gingerbread Boy told with an original twist.

Artists at the Center is a multi-year collaboration between Seattle Office of Arts & Culture and Seattle Center, with support from Uptown Arts & Culture Coalition and the communities adjacent to Seattle Center campus. The project is made possible by a 10-year grant from Climate Pledge Arena and Seattle Kraken.
