Update Sept. 20: Remaining space is very limited. Once advanced registration cuts off, you may try to get into the event onsite in case there are no-shows, or check out these other dates and locations for healthcare enrollment.
Big changes are coming soon to our nation’s healthcare system. Mark your calendar for this event to help you navigate towards what you need for your health. The Office of Arts & Culture and Artist Trust will co-present a forum on Affordable Healthcare: New Options for Artists, 6 p.m., Monday, Oct. 14, at Seattle City Hall’s Bertha Knight Landes Room. From 6 to 7 p.m., you’ll get all the info you need on what your options and requirements are for health insurance. From 7 to 8:30 p.m., you’ll have an opportunity to speak with healthcare advocates and enroll on the spot.
The event is free and open to the public but registration is required. Register here.
Healthcare open enrollment begins Oct. 1. Coverage begins Jan. 1. And in the meantime, check out these great resources on healthcare:
