Join Mayor Mike McGinn, the Seattle City Council, City Attorney Peter Holmes, and city departments for a City Hall Open House, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 28. City Hall is at 601 Fifth Ave.
The event will feature a Q&A with elected officials, tours of the offices of the mayor and City Council, a farmer’s market and food trucks. The Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs and other city departments will be there with information and to answer questions.
Enjoy Latin jazz by the Fred Hoadley Trio in the City Hall lobby. Arlie Neskahi & Eagle’s Jump will perform Native American music in the Mayor’s Office lobby on the 7th floor. Both groups will perform from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

the event was great, i enjoyed it! the tour of the officies was a nice experience. I hope it will be next year agin.

It’s good to have the Q&A, especially if the officials listen to citizens. Far too often it’s a song and dance, but I think here is a great example of good public works.
