Need something sweet and upbeat this week? Seattle’s Curtains for You plays on City Hall’s outdoor plaza this Thursday. The group performs “retro-pop that’s as primed to melt hearts as it is to put a bounce in one’s step,” says Sound on the Sound. This five-piece band serves up “delicious melodies and intricate three- and four-part harmonies that make the hair on the back of your neck stand up,” says Rock and Roll Report.
The performance, from 12 to 1:30 p.m., is part of Seattle Presents, the free summer concert series presented by the Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs at City Hall. The concerts are presented in partnership with Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union, Metropolitan Improvement District, Seattle Parks and Recreation and Triamp Group.
