Training lab for teaching artists accepting applications

We’re passing along this information about an exciting training opportunity for teaching artists. The 2011-2012 Teaching Artist Training (TAT) Lab is an eight-month professional development program that includes five in-person training days plus a series of teleconferences and opportunities to connect one-on-one with an assigned teaching artist mentor. The training addresses key topics such as lesson planning, learning objectives, and assessing student learning in the arts. The application deadline is July 25.

The TAT Lab is presented by the Washington State Arts Commission and Seattle Repertory Theatre in collaboration with the Seattle Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs4Culture, Pacific Northwest Ballet and the National Endowment for the Arts.
