Seeking college interns to join our team

The Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs seeks two communications interns to work closely with its communications team and provide administrative support for the department. Responsibilities include writing and editing content for the department’s e-newsletter, blog and social media sites; coordinating data collection for a national research study and assisting with office events, including lunchtime concerts at City Hall.

The internships require a six-month commitment and 20 hours of work per week. Applicants must be enrolled in college. The positions are unpaid, but students may earn academic credit. Applicants should be studying arts management, public relations, marketing, communications English, journalism or other related fields. Candidates must be self-motivated, creative thinkers with excellent written and verbal communications skills, organization and research skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
