The Washington State Arts Commission and The Wallace Foundation invite you to attend an Arts Participation Leadership Initiative learning opportunity August 26-27 at Seattle Center’s McCaw Hall. Designed for arts managers, board members, artists and volunteers, the event features a forum and workshops that explore emerging practices in audience engagement.
During Engaging Audiences, researcher Alan Brown and participants will delve into how audiences like to engage with different art forms, plus how arts organizations can respond to the changing expectations and demands of audiences. The forum will be introduced by Daniel Windham of The Wallace Foundation with a discussion led by Sandra Jackson-Dumont of the Seattle Art Museum.
