May is Arts Education Month in Washington, and Mayor McGinn has issued a proclamation to celebrate. And ArtsEd Washington has put together a list of ways you can participate and advocate for the arts in your school district.

May is Arts Education Month in Washington, and Mayor McGinn has issued a proclamation to celebrate. And ArtsEd Washington has put together a list of ways you can participate and advocate for the arts in your school district.

You can also join in ArtsEd Washington’s Annual Meeting at Experience Music Project,  5 to 7 p.m, Tuesday, May 25. The evening will include arts education updates from Dr. Alan Burke, deputy superintendent, Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction; and Kris Tucker, executive director, Washington State Arts Commission.
