The Italian Festival

The 27th annual presentation  of a community festival to celebrate the joy of “All Things Italian” featuring Italian and Italian-American art, music, dance, food and fun-filled activities for the entire family (NCA).

 

 

CroatiaFest

The festival features music, dance and food from the Croatian culture. This year’s festival will feature Dario Barisic, a traditional Croatian musician and singer and his band (NCA).

 

 

Modus Operandi

Michelle Miller and Alana O Rogers will present an evening of new and repertory choreographic works that cover a range of themes including family dynamics, memory and dementia,  identity and diversity, freedom and restrain, and bullying (smART Ventures).

 

Social Justice Film Festival

The festival strives to forge new connections and inspire new conversations about justice through the innovative platform of art featuring short and feature-length documentaries and narrative films (NCA).

 

 

 

These events are funded through the Office of Arts & Culture’s Neighborhood and Community Arts and smART ventures grants. The Neighborhood & Community Arts (NCA) program supports Seattle’s neighborhood arts councils and community groups that produce events to promote arts and cultural participation and build community. SmART Ventures is a Seattle-based, flexible awards program that encourages innovative ideas, creates community impact, and provides new access for individuals and groups not served by our other programs.
