Surf rock and girl pop for last free concert at City Hall this Thursday

luz-570Catch this last free show on City Hall’s outdoor plaza for the summer!

Rising Seattle stars La Luz turn every show into a beach-side dance party with their lush, ’60s-inspired surf rock and girl pop. They come to City Hall plaza, 600 Fourth Ave., for a free, all-ages performance, 12 to 1:30 p.m., Aug. 29, as part of the Seattle Presents free summer concert series. Seattle Presents features eight consecutive weeks of free concerts on Thursdays at City Hall.

The Stranger’s Bree McKenna said it best: “If you see La Luz live, I dare you to take in the absolutely dreamy four-part harmonies while watching their synchronized dance steps…without your knees wobbling like a ‘50s teen at a Dion concert.”

Seattle Presents concerts are presented by the Seattle Office of Arts and Culture in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, Metropolitan Improvement District and Triamp Group.
