Seattle world reggae rockers at City Hall this Thursday

Chill to groove-heavy reggae by beloved local boys Kore Ionz, noon to 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 11 outdoors on the City Hall plaza.

Honolulu Weekly proclaims “Kore Ionz should not be missed. If not for the reggae, for a lesson in love.”

The band has been hard at work on its forthcoming album and sharing the stage with The Wailers, Third World and New Zealand’s Katchafire, as well as two-time Grammy-award winner Common.  Visit their website to listen to a track off their most recent EP, Love You Better.

The performance is part of Seattle Presents, the free concert series at City Hall presented by the Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs. The concerts are presented in partnership with Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union, Metropolitan Improvement District, Seattle Parks and Recreation and Triamp Group.
