It pays to be prepared

Last week in our November eNews, Michael Killoren, director of Seattle’s Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs, wrote about the importance of emergency preparedness for arts and cultural organizations.

“The readiness is all.” This line from Hamlet echoes the responsibility of preparing for the worst-case scenario—a flood, flu pandemic, snow storm, earthquake, fire or other disasters.
